Not to be confused with the 2008 animatronic Cellar Dweller (2008).
The Fogging Basement Doors was an animatronic sold by Spirit Halloween for the 2017 Halloween season, and online for the 2018 Halloween season. It resembled an external doorway to a basement, with zombie hands coming through the holes. When activated, the doors slam while an orange light glows within. Slamming and grunting sounds could be heard. Additionally, the animatronic could be hooked up to a fog machine which allowed the inside to fog during the activation.

“Everyone knows not to go in the basement, especially when the basement doors begin to bang and glow a sickly red. Move closer and you’ll notice the ghastly hands of monsters attempting escape, and the claw marks covering the doors. Pair with a fog machine for even more dramatic scares! With an animatronic like this, you’ll never have to worry about your guests trying to go into the basement.”
