Not to be confused with the 2011 animatronic 72 Inch Animated Cocoon Corpse.
The Cocooned Corpse was a hanging animatronic sold by Spirit Halloween for the 2018 and 2019 Halloween seasons, and returned online in 2020 and 2021. It resembled a figure wrapped up in a white cocoon with black spiders crawling on it. When activated, the body turned side to side while the head lifted up and down as if it's trying to break free. Grunting and spider chattering sounds could be heard during the process.

“Covered from head to toe in hungry spiders and wrapped in tightly-wound webs, this strung-up sap has seen better days… As the Cocooned Corpse struggles to escape its bondage, spiders crawl all over its body and chatter away, drowning out its muffled cries for help. - In 2019, this animatronic's code/item number name was ANIMT 7.
- Lord Dakhanavar (If he was released), was going to take his place on the S.S. Rip Tide in 2019.
- The codename for this animatronic is Old McDonald.
- The spiders came packaged separately, allowing you to place them wherever you may like.
- The animatronic can be seen in the background of the demo video for Shorty. It was intended to resemble a cotton candy cocoon from the film "Killer Klowns from Outer Space."
